You can't convert a jpeg to a raw file. The raw format is a proprietary format for files coming out of the camera. If you could convert, there would be no benefit. Raw files are typically 12 or 14 bits per color channel, while jpegs are 8. You can't recover the missing 4 or 6 bits. The TIFF file format does not compress the data. That's why they're so big. Files can be saved as jpegs. You will lose data in going from raw to jpeg (those extra 4 or 6 bits). However, if you save at the highest quality jpeg, you won't lose any data from that point on. However, if you use any but the highest quality, you will lose data and it will get worse from generation to generation.

I went to a dance production yesterday, and for some reason when i saw the little kids running around having fun i almost began to cry... and not just once, SEVERAL times... whilst it adds unpredictability it would obviously have to be done in a way that makes sense. Like a guy who has had his leg worked on for the whole match, his leg buckling at an inopportune time leading to his opponent getting a roll up win is fine. But for matches to be better in WWE you need better wrestlers and most of WWE's maineventers need to be carried by better wrestlers for that to happen. Ortons having some of his best matches this year thanks to Christian and Punk for instance. Miz in the ring sucks and his matches reflect that. And Cena is solid but for matches of his to be great he needs a very good opponent.

I like WLWH (undeniably a huge influence on the punk and noise rock genres), but I just find their debut album - ugly. I have two characters, one who took herbalism and skinning which is going fine, and then I just made the other which I have under alchemy and leather-working (to correspond with my other character via supplies sent from the mail to myself). Anyways, since these two are my first production professions, I'm kinda lost. Of course, after you learn apprentice, you're at skill level one. I browsed through every single potion recipe and pattern and they all seem to require a skill level of 15 or greater! But if there's not something to start out with level 1, then how do I level up?! Do I need to level up my character a bit? I'm only level 12 on that character, does that make a difference. Does it mean level 15, instead of skill level 15?

As some of you may know, Orton was promoted to being positioned as the new face of Smackdown, due to Edge's sudden retirement. Our dog goes through phases where he won't go outside.?

we have a 2 yr. old white german shepard and a 12 yr. old blue healer mix. the shepard goes through phases lasting a week or two where he won't go outside (in our back yard), then he seems to be ok with it for a few days. we can't seem to figure out what triggers this "strike." he will get close to the door and then we have to shove him out or step out ourselves to get him to go, but these things don't always work. he weighs 80 lbs. for some back info, these dogs were left alone a lot for a period of about 6 months or so, before i moved in. the older dog is well behaved and mellow, but the shepard has had some dominance issues. they get along well, occasionally having a small tiff. is this just a matter of taking this dog on some long walks? some part of the dominance thing? any ideas about this?

Losing baby fat help?

OK, I will try to keep this clean lol. I had a baby a tad over a month ago, and I am trying to get back in shape. I recently resumed my daily jogging which is almost 5 miles a day, but in addition to losing the ten baby pounds, I'm hoping to, no praying to firm up the chest again. I am still lactating and having strength issues, so I was wondering if stair push ups are as effective as regular pushups? I'm just not at the point where I can do regular pushups yet since alot of my nutrition is going into milk production? If that makes sense? I am going to be a sophomore this coming year at a private school in the suburbs. This past year, as a freshman, I took the the three honors courses that are offered for freshmen (physics, geometry, and spanish) as well as history and english. My final grades were a B+ in history, B in geometry and physics, and A- in spanish and english. I participated in two theatre productions at school (during the winter and spring) and contributed to three clubs. Next year I will be in all honors, except for history. If I move up to AP history in the middle of next year or do all honors my junior year, what will my chances of getting into an ivy league or the equivalent, or even Oxford or Cambridge be like? I haven't taken the SATs or PSATs or anything like that yet but I will next year. Please keep in mind that I will have 60 hours or more of community service by the end of my senior year and most probably three activity credits for each of my sophomore, junior, and senior years. I also plan to raise my grades next year, as I am not particularly happy with them at the present. Oh and I think my grades make my GPA about 3.7. Thanks for helping!!!

My windows XP computer doesn't work anymore. How can I fix it?

I put a flash drive in the computer (the flash drive had pictures on it that were TIFF files) and when I tried opening the file, it took forever, so i deiced to close the window. When the window closed, everything on my desktop was gone. The menu bar was gone and all the icons were gone. I waited for it to come back, and it didn't so I turned off the computer manually. When I turned it back on, a blue screen would pop up telling me to remove all hard drives from the computer, when i had already done that. I can't get the blue screen to go away. I need this computer because I have many documents and pictures on it. How can I fix this, and get my computer going again?

If you want true RAW photos you'll have to shoot them that way. I'd say it all depends on what they're being used for. If going to be published in a magazine or some such then RAW or TIFF is a good choice. If you're viewing them at home on your computer there's no real difference on your monitor between RAW and jpg because the monitor is only capable of so many mp anyway.

My family is really crazy what should I do?

So, found out my father is my Mom's uncle which means my cousins are also my brother and sister. My uncle/father is a nut case who molested my cousin/sister when she was little, he is a known perv. My Mom is a lien nut case who lied (when we live in philly) to my rich Aunt (who lives in tx) that she had aids, so she was able to get 200,000 dollars from her within 2 years to support her drug habit. My little brother 19 years has a baby girl on the way and my little cousin Tiff is 16 with a baby on the way. My whole family live off my 80 yea old great great aunt who is also my great aunt, who is really rich. She doesn't have much time left and most people think and I already know I'm gonna get the most money left to me because I'm her favorite. Everybody thinks I'm her favorite because she feels bad that I have parents who are related, but I think she just really like me, anyways should I leave and move to a different state, to get away from this family that really causes me allot of stress or since I'n getting money should I stay and help take care of them. I also might not be able to get an ID because me step Dad found a way to get me a social security card with his last name on it, without adopting me. During this time she was living with her father and partying when we had him which is every other weekend and couple weeks at a time. Then she let 2 underage kids take her car and crashed it had a lawsuit over her head but it got thrown out because she said they stole her car. Finally, she got own place then about 2 mths ago her friends robbed her apartment while she was out of state still friends with them. Now her sister who babysits just got arrested for posses ion of heroin (she babysits and is around the child ALL the time). When we get the child hes always dirty and wearing GIRL clothes. When the dna was done years back the state sat down my husband and her to discuss child support and medical SUPPORT. Well, she told the state she didn't want support(cause he said he'd take her to court for joint custody and she wants to have control of the child) so my husband pays medical support and they have an agreement through the courts that he wont have to pay if she doesn't get on assurance, so she has full custody and he has shared parenting NOT rights. During these years she's managed to hang onto a part-time job that shes been at for 8 years prepping food. Now with this information what would you do if you were a mother and couldn't do anything about this child..I;ve sat by and been worried about him being with her. She has horrible judgment in my eyes. I'm getting ready to be a college graduate my husband and i own our beautiful home, he's worked at the same very good paying job for 9 years (concrete finisher).. he thinks that he wont get crap if we took her to court because she has always had a roof over his head, clothes and food that we buy. I'm so confused! Why won't my BF call me?

Sounds like you are running os x linux, and preview doesn't support photo conversion in batch. Only Windows can do this without installing third party software. I don't know it if is still around, but search for MacBatch Tiff and download it. If you can find it, i think it was around 65 dollars to buy. If you want to do this for free, use Windows, as it has a lot more features than apple's linux, and no extra programs are needed.

Anyone Suffering from Chronic Hives?

This is actually going to be some advice for those people who have suffered with chronic hives for a long time. I had (idiopathic urticaria) hives with no known cause for over 2 years. I lived off of antihistimines and steroids(medrol dose packs and prednisone) and was in and out of the emergency room when I had outbreaks all over my body. I had been given the run around by all types of drs. And I was even given meds for what they believed was a stress disorder. I even had a blood test done for allergies but everything came back fine. I was unable to get the skin test because they ask you to come off of your medications for like a week before the test. And there was no way i could. I had to work and go to school. If i did that I'd look like a monster. But I eventually found a good ENDOCHRINOLOGIST and they found that i have hyperthyroidism/GRAVES DISEASE and the way that my body reacted to the disruption in my thyroid function was externally through hives. I had a blood test at this physicians office and they confirmed that the thyroid levels were too high and put me on Methimazole to help slow down thyroid hormone production. I slowly took myself off of the antihistimines and am taking only the methimazole now. I have been taking the medicine only a month or so and feel much better in some ways. I still feel tired and have a very hard time keeping weight on, but at this point i am not having to worry about hives. I just hope that someone who has the same problem will read this and find some hope here. Don't let a dr tell you that nothing is wrong with you. You know your body best and you know when something is wrong. I went through countless dr's and missed opportunities because of what I was suffering with, with no answers. Dont lose hope and keep looking until you get help.

Yes they do contact your former employer, just because their rules say that they won't give you any benefits if you left your job voluntarily without good reason, and so anyone could just make up anything about abuse or whatever! So they have to check up on it - I had this happen to me before, so although there weren't any big problems or anything they still had to write to my old boss and wiat for them to confirm what I'd said before they accepted that I had to leave. The point is that if you are out of work by choice you shouldn't get benefits, which is fair. So you should explain the situation to your boss first, put the whole thing in writing (keep a copy) and say why you think they gave you the job under false pretences and why you can't carry on working there. Then, when you tell the jobcentre your reasons you can say that you told your employers why, show them the letter you wrote and then your employers won't be able to say 'they left for no reason'. Do keep in mind that there has to be an actual reason why you can't carry on with the job - if you just say that they misled you then jobcentre will always ask 'why does that mean you can't do the job?' These two started spouting off about women, how they treat women that they date, what women are good for, using every profanity in the book, including the "c" word. I was very uncomfortable as were most of the passengers on the bus. I could see people looking back to see who was talking. Finally a man in his 30's spoke up, politely, asking them to clean up their language please, there's woman and children on this bus. The one guy got very pissed off and started using even more profane language saying that this was a "public place" and he could say what he wanted. I spoke up then and said "Yes, it's a public place - that's exactly why you cannot use that language here. If you want to talk like that, do it at home, not on a crowded bus". He immediately called me a "fat ugly "c" and told me to mind my own business. Then the first man came to my defense and was more aggressive this time, saying "Hey, I told you two to cut out the language". Then the 18 year old stood up and challenged the 30 year old to a fight - he was ready to do it right there on a moving bus. By this time the driver had become aware of what was going on and he yelled at the guys to sit down and be quiet. Mr. Show-Off 18 year old kept threatening the 30 year old and the bus driver kept yelling at him to sit down. The two teenagers kept up their filthy talk for the rest of the ride, but this time they were making comments about the passengers that were absolutely filthy. When we got downtown 25 minutes later, I went up to the front of the bus to get off at my stop and I just unloaded on the bus driver. I was irate with him that he didn't stop the bus and kick those two off and make them walk. He said he had called the police and the transit security officers and they were going to meet him at one of his stops as soon as one of them was in the area. I called the transit authority after I got home and reported this incident. I don't regret telling them to clean up their act - I just regret that the other 60 people on the bus kept their mouths shut and just tolerated this garbage. If nobody speaks up then these losers think that what they are doing is OK. I suspect the two that I met are going to be more careful in the future now that they've been taken to the police station and ticketed for their behavior.

Problem W/ local theater, some insight?

I'm going to apologize right now for the length of this one. Okay, so the story goes my brother wqas crazy shy, but he found this little tiny theater program that put on plays in this 10 by 10 foot theater, and my brother found his love for drama in it, along with his confidance. A few more people join the theater, along with some parents, it gets a little bigger and they move to aan old movie theater, where they keep on putting on productions, the parents run the concessions and the place starts making a hundred bucks or so on every show they put on, the community is good with it.It is a volenteer program, and some realy great kids join, like my bother to find their confidance, and do. Then a pair of really creepy adults Join. The theater was started by Chuck and megan, who are very nice, but have no creep-o-meter what so ever. Creepy guy # one takes over tech stuff, and brings with him a bunch of creepy 15 year old kids who do tech as well, it starts to change the feel of the theater a little, but not bad since they were behind the scenes, problem being if you were to volenteer to do tech now, you had to pass creepy guy's assesment of you, and you haad no choice but to work with his set of obnoxious creeples. Now creepy guy # 2 shows up. He is a rich old dude, and he starts taking over concessions, what were chips and candy are now candy bar and wine. A kid is charged twice as much for a candy bar as an adult girl is. His little set of sluts starts hanging out smoking in front of the theater, getting rid of the family feel of the theater completly. Creepy guy # 2 starts calling it his theater, and now almost all of the good kids that were in the program have now dropped out because of the 2 creepy guys. Now, creepy guy #1 drops away from the theater because Chuck and megan get mad at him, taking with him the house crew, all the lights that the theater owned, and rocky. This was the first move in the right direction for the theater. Now, here is where my brother offers to run the theater for the next year, do the bills and such for them, and I offer to take over tech for them. I know this seems like we were offering to replace creeepy guy one, but our intentions are simply to help the theater, and we are not aiming for a monoply over the theater like they are. When my bro and I told chuck and megan that we would like to step in, they said yes, certainly. And we told them, along w/ several members of the community, that creepy guy needed to go, along with his alcohol and smoking sluts, and they said that they didn't think it would be that big a deal if creepy guy # 2 stayed. Now, my brother graduates highschool, and having planned on working at the theater for a year, he has nothing to do, and is somewhat up a creek with out a paddle because he had always planned on doing this. The theater is falling apart and becoming an eyesore because chuck and megan won't work on it, an dall the while I have been watching from the sidelines, and now I'm wondering what I Should do. Hi, okay so let me get to the point: I cut, up and down my inner left wrist. I just do, and it's none of your business to tell me that it's a problem and I should stop (go ahead, tell me, and see how much I care). Anyway, I'm a stage actress and I'm performing in an upcoming production of Seussical in the next two weeks. I found out today that my costume is essentially a leotard and a boa. Nothing to cover my arms, and I dance (so I obviously have to use my arms comfortably). Iv been making rap music since I was 15.
