How to convert "Acres" into "Hectares"? and how to find the average production of any crops..?

well I'm stuck with calculation of land in now a days. I've no idea to find out the answer like conversion of acre into hectares. and i don't know that one hectare and acre is equal to what? i also need to fine the average production of crops.
