Was my experience in Hamburg typical?

I spent last weekend in hamburg with my partner Keith. Unfortunately on the first night me and Keith had a lovers tiff. He said some very vicious things and stormed off. I decided to make the best of a bad situation and went to a gay nightclub. Straight away someone took my fancy and I went in for the kill. Unbeknown to me his boyfriend was lurking in the shadows. He lunged at me in a vicious manner and I suffered a cut lip. Was my experience typical of these establishments?
