Is it right that I'm angry?

So this is an incident which happened today. I work at a doctors office and we are not allowed personal phone calls which I understand -- I usually work only monday to fridays but took an extra shift saturday. I came home and my husband was tiffed and my daughter came running over to me crying. I asked what was wrong and my husband told me that since our daughter hadnt seen me go to work so she thought i wasnt coming home (she's 3) and he wanted to assure her I def. WAS coming home so he phoned my work place so she could talk to me and explained the situation but they said absolutely no personal phone calls............ im super angry and plan on confronting my boss monday, should i? or let it slide?
